Moving Right Along...

Hello all! Welcome to our little electronic homestead. After dragging our feet for some time we are dipping our toes into the blogging pool. We have enjoyed keeping up with many family and friends by perusing their blogs. Hopefully this will be a great way to keep in touch with friends and family as we settle into our new Kentucky Fried Life....

Speaking of which, we are so excited to have a contract on a new home in the way-outskirts of Louisville. It is in a brand new development chock full o' young families like our own. Hooray! Our yard will not be the only lot decorated by Little Tykes! Andie and the Offspring are poised to check out the local anklebiter scene with a few upcoming MOM's Club events. This is a good move since Bailey has been forging a deep and meaningful friendship with the stuffed harvest children on Andie's folks porch. We hope to officially take over the new house by mid-October.

In the meantime Michael is hard at work conquering"The Ville" and scoping out the best derby pie. The kids, felines & Andie have been converting "Blamma & Blampa's" tranquil retirement abode into a massive playroom. Hayden's favorite pastimes are opening and closing the garage door to prepare for a play session in Pa's Jeep or on the tractor. When his adult victim tires of passing time in the sweltering garage he graciously suggests that you stay for "Three more minutes". At seven and a half months, Bailey is still pretty flexible about her general location as long as there is something she can commandeer as a teether. As it turns out, the Jeep's steering wheel is a fabulous teether so the end result is that both kids are tickled to while away the afternoon in the garage.
