Sometime last year, the Mini's got this book from Grandma Joyce. It is the sequel to Knuffle Bunny and a much loved read at our house. In fact, a plush Knufflebunny is one of Miss Bailey's cherished loveys.
The sequel has a bit of a literary "P.S." and that section is appropriately titled Epilogue. Hayden picked up on that word a while back when the book did a stint in his room for bedtime reading.
So this morning as we all rested at home nursing our post Turkey Day colds, I was pleased to see that H (who tossed his cookies on the way home Sunday) had eaten a good breakfast. Just for ducks I asked if his tummy was full or if he might like a bit more to eat. And now you wonder, How does this relate to Knuffle Bunny Too?
That witty child of mine looked up at me with a grin and said, "Yes Mommy, I would like some more. I would like an Epilogue Breakfast!"
