This past Saturday we had a lovely family day. Somehow everyone managed to sleep until an acceptable hour - hooray! Michael popped downstairs and started a big breakfast of mini chocolate chip pancakes while upstairs the MiniMarx's were put through their morning paces by yours truly. After a tasty breakfast treat we headed out for a family excursion.
Since it was the first Saturday of the month, we marched our crew into Home Depot for the monthly kids workshop where Michael and I assembled two snazzy message boards while the kids occasionally pitched in but mostly hammered the work bench and spread glue around.
There's nothing like a walk with Daddy. 
Except of course, a project with one of your favorite humans!
Bailey was absorbed in her task and was unusually quiet. Perhaps when she is older she'll whistle while she works...
