Let there be Letters!

With winter waning and spring approaching, Hayden happened to see a few Leapfrog videos and thus began a fascination with letters and particularly vowels. For a time he was so enamored with vowels that he wanted to plan on an alphabet birthday cake where the consanants were blue and the vowels were red. Here he is sorting through our fridge letters to arrange his vowels in just the right way. It was during this time that he also discovered a way to build and connect letters with his legos. He would spend his quiet time in the afternoon constructing strings of letters and often short words with his precious bin of blocks. Let the letter games begin!
