And off to Reptile Day we went! H is conspicuously absent from these photos. It turns out he was not all that captivated by the scaly friends at the center of these events. All things considered that shouldn't have been surprising. After all, what do reptiles and outer space have in common? As I recall he was far more drawn to the K'Nex and bicycle designing stations than to the live critters on hand. It turned out to be a great day for Mommy and Daddy to divide and conquer.
On the other hand, Bailey was enchanted by the entire production. So much so that she was willing to elbow fellow warm blooded explorers to jockey for position. She made friends with some kind of lizard and then spent a bit of time snake snuggling. At first she wasn't certain that joining the line of people holding the snake was the thing to do, but after a quick petting of this enormous slithery creature she shimmied and shoved her way into the action.
Fortunately the herpetologist was right next to her so she was closely monitored! 
You just never know what the day will bring when you are spending it with Princess BusyBee!
