Ni Hao Hayden!

Early February brought China Day at Preschool. I was fortunate to be able to leave Miss Bailey with a friend for the morning and get my passport stamped along with Hayden and his classmates. The day began with an imaginary flight to China along with a brief slideshow about the country to help set the mood.

The parent volunteers were paired off in classrooms with various activities. Along with a mother from Hayden class last year, I was in the paper bag dragon room. It is always interesting to volunteer on one of these days where the kids circulate because you get a sense of each class and the variety of students as they rotate through. Of course, for me the highlight was having Hayden's class come through for their turn. Here he is working diligently on his dragon.

When all of the dragons were done, we played some music and helped the kiddos take their dragons on parade.
Gung Hay Fat Choy! Have a prosperous and good New Year!
